Cape Town - Tottenham Hotspur full-back Kyle Walker is expecting a tough encounter when he lines up against his boyhood club Sheffield United in the Capital One Cup semi-final first leg on Wednesday.
He says his inside knowledge leads him to believe Nigel Clough's men will be a difficult prospect at White Hart Lane, and even more dangerous at Bramall Lane in the second leg.
"It's not going to be easy. Hopefully we can get a comfortable lead here because this is our patch, but we need to play the football we have been playing in recent weeks,” he told Sky Sports.
"It is going to be a far from easy tie, especially up at Bramall Lane. They will chuck everything at us up there.
"I have obviously supported the club since I was a boy and played for the club before I came here.
"I know their spirit and what the coaches will want. It's going to take a lot of hard work for us to get to Wembley."
Spurs could meet either Liverpool or London rivals Chelsea in the final, after those clubs played to a 1-1 draw at Anfield in their first-leg clash on Tuesday night.
