Cape Town - According to reports, Louis van Gaal is ready to take another significant dip into the transfer market in the summer.
Manchester United will spend another £100m-plus on squad improvements reports the Daily Mail.
Following a spend of approximately £150 million at the beginning of the current season, Louis van Gaal has been given the green light to add more stars to his squad.
The English newspaper reports that the Dutch coach will again look to bring in proven talent rather than try to unearth new stars.
According to Sportsmail, defenders Mats Hummels (Borussia Dortmund), Danilo (Porto), Nathaniel Clyne (Southampton) or Dani Alves (Barcelona) are all on the Manchester United radar - with the centre and right back positions needing enhancement.
The same source reports that Real Madrid star Gareth Bale remains a top transfer target for Van Gaal as does Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba while Dutch international Memphis Depay has been linked with a switch to Old Trafford from PSV.
