United will offer £60 million for CR7

Cape Town - Manchester United will be ready to pounce for former star Cristiano Ronaldo and have allocated £60 million for the deal.

Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly weighing up his options amid interest from former club Manchester United according to the Express.

Ronaldo is currently embroiled in a war of words with Real Madrid club president Florentino Perez over the transfer dealings with the Champions League winners.

The Portugal star reportedly earns £290,000-a-week with Madrid but may decided to move back to England where Manchester United are willing to increase the player's wages in order to tempt him back to the club where he made his name.

The player continuous to stir up the speculation of his return to Manchester United and has recently said: "Everyone knows that - I have said it many times. Manchester is in my heart. I left many good friends there, the supporters are amazing and I wish I can come back one day."

United were linked with a move for the player two season ago but a bid failed to materialise.
