Stoke ease into FA Cup 5th round

Rochdale - Stoke easily advanced to the fifth round of the FA Cup after Bojan Krkic and Victor Moses scored spectacular goals in a 4-1 win at Rochdale on Monday.

Third-tier Rochdale was looking to spring another upset after watching Chelsea, Manchester City and several other Premier League teams lose over the weekend, but Bojan put Stoke ahead after just four minutes with a first-time volley.

He hobbled off with an injury shortly afterward, but his replacement Stephen Ireland doubled Stoke's lead at the start of the second half and Moses then set up a fifth-round game at Blackburn with a dipping shot from an acute angle.

Rhys Bennett scored a late consolation for Rochdale and Jon Walters sealed the comprehensive win with Stoke's fourth in stoppage time.

No! I think the smart thing to do is start again with a younger skipper ...

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
