Cape Town - QPR striker Loic Remy is being targeted by rivals Spurs for a month ahead of the transfer window September 1 deadline.
Spurs will have to pay £11 million for the French forward according to the Daily Star.
Liverpool had reached an agreement with QPR for the sale of Remy but snubbed the striker at the 11th hour.
Reports suggest that Remy has a heart complication but the player has made several moves in his career and any health issue is not considered dangerous enough to force the player into retirement.
Reports in England suggest Spurs will have to pay £2.5m more than Liverpool due to a Champions League clause in his contract.
Spurs are desperate to sign the French striker and are willing to offer one of several players in any deal for Remy.
Michael Dawson, Andros Townsend or Tom Carroll could tempt QPR boss Harry Redknapp into parting with Remy.
