Cape Town - New Tottenham Hotspur signing Son Heung-min has revealed the extent of the rivalry between Spurs and Arsenal.
The South Korean star made his debut as Spurs beat Sunderland courtesy of a late Ryan Mason goal on Sunday.
The attacking midfielder joined Spurs for a fee in the region of £18 million from Bayer Leverkusen in August, a deal which made him the most expensive Asian player in history in the process.
According to the Telegraph, Son has revealed the rivalry between Spurs and Arsenal is taken so seriously, red has been ruled out as the colour of his new car.
"Tottenham officials already told me I can’t even buy a red car," Son told Korean newspaper JoongAng Ilbo.
Son is eager his first taste of the London derby.
"I’m very excited to play against Arsenal. Whatever match I play, I want to score goals. Since I’m a forward, my goal-scoring record will speak for me.
"Tottenham plays aggressive football, which I like very much, and I like to pressure opponents from the front. I think I can be a better player if I train under Pochettino."
