Skrtel: I'd go anywhere...but United

Cape Town - Martin Skrtel's Anfield future is in doubt after the player revealed his unhappiness with the club's latest offer.

Liverpool defender Martin Skrtel would never imagine joining Manchester United, reports the Express.

The 30-year-old defender is currently unhappy at Anfield after rejecting the club's latest contract offer.

"It's unacceptable for me. I think that such contracts are offered to players who are much older than me or players who have had some health problems." Skrtel told Slovakian outlet Aktualne last week.

The Slovak defender also admitted that there is some interest from other Premier League clubs.

The Liverpool stalwart responded sharply to a question if he would join arch-rivals Manchester United.

"I can imagine a transfer to anywhere but to United, never." said Skrtel.

Skrtel joined Liverpool on 11 January 2008 on a four-and-a-half-year deal from Zenit St Petersburg for a transfer fee of £6.5 million.
