Cape Town - Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin, who had been linked with a move to Tottenham, has reacted angrily on social media after club chairman Ralph Krueger insisted neither him nor Ray Rodriguez will be sold this summer.
"They are part of the core that we have decided to keep in Southampton", said Krueger. "Jay Rodriguez and Morgan Schneiderlin are not for sale".
Schneiderlin, however, appeared to be upset with this decision and took to Twitter to tweet his discontent surrounding the matter.
"They will be a part of our club as we enter the new season, and in and around Jay Rodriguez and Morgan Schneiderlin and the rest of our core players, we’re excited to continue to build forward but all of those stories (linking the pair with a move away) are false", Krueger told Sky Sports News.

It seems the Frenchman would rather be at White Hart Lane come the beginning of next season, but Ralph Krueger is determined to keep him at Southampton."They will be a part of our club as we enter the new season, and in and around Jay Rodriguez and Morgan Schneiderlin and the rest of our core players, we’re excited to continue to build forward but all of those stories (linking the pair with a move away) are false", Krueger told Sky Sports News.
