Ronaldo set to play at Old Trafford

Cape Town - The Old Trafford faithful are likely to see the return of CR7 next month with the ground set to host a friendly international.

The Daily Telegraph reports that Portugal and Argentina are set to play an international friendly at the "Theatre of Dreams" next month.

Manchester United fans will be delighted to hear of Cristiano Ronaldo's return but not in the manner in which they have been dreaming of.

Officials of the two countries along with the English club have reportedly reached an agreement for the match at Old Trafford.

The match, which will take place on 18 November, will see Ronaldo return to the ground for only the second time since the Real Madrid star left in 2009.

Ronaldo made a scoring return to Old Trafford when Real Madrid faced United in the Champions League in March 2013.
