Cape Town - Roma's sporting director ,Walter Sabatini, has jetted into Manchester to attempt to finalise a deal for Edin Dzeko.
Manchester Evening News reports that Edin Dzeko could be heading to the Serie A this summer.
The Premier League giants reportedly rejected Roma’s initial £9 million offer after setting the Bosnian's valuation at least £21 million.
Dzeko's place in the City squad has come under increased scrutiny after the arrivals of first, Wilfried Bony, and now Raheem Sterling.
The 29-year-old striker may now be let go this summer if Roma can agree a fee.
Roma want City to compromise at £12 million which will allow the Citizens to reduce their wage bill by £160,000-a-week.
Dzeko joined City in 2011 for £27 million and has gone on to score 50 goals in 130 appearances in the light blue of Manchester City.
