RVP, Mikel off to Turkey - reports

Cape Town - Fenerbahce are looking to bring two experienced Premier League campaigners, United's Robin van Persie and Chelsea's John Obi Mikel, to the club this summer.

Teamtalk report the Superlig side have both deals all but done for the Manchester United and Chelsea squad members.

Fenerbahce have already signed Manchester United's Nani as the club looks to rebuild their squad this summer.

Van Persie will reportedly join former Red Devils colleague Nani on a four-year deal with Manchester United receiving just £6 million for the 31-year-old Dutch international.

Mikel has not been a regular starter for the Blues since Jose Mourinho re-took the reigns at Stamford Bridge and according to media in Turkey, has held talks over a move to Fenerbahce.

Mikel joined Chelsea in 2006 and at 28-years-old, the Nigerian midfielder has a lot to offer any club with his vast experience gained in the Premier League.

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
