Q: Only 5 more matches until the end of the Premier League season. How do you feel about it and what’s still in for Manchester City?

You say it is only 5 matches, but a lot can happen in these games. We will work hard to finish as well as possible.

Q: You have scored 20 goals this season despite various injuries. Do you feel you have still room to improve, what can you do in an injury-free season?

Yes, I think there is still some scope to improve, especially when not having to cope with more set-backs through injuries. I have now been healthy for a while and I enjoy playing with the team just as much as I did on my first day at City 4 years ago. The atmosphere is good and I love scoring goals, so I am confident there are many more to come.

Q: Once the Premier League comes to an end this season, you will pack up and join the national team to play Copa America in Chile. What is your expectation for this tournament?

Many strong teams will be participating, first and foremost the home nation Chile will be a dangerous opponent, especially with the support of their local fans. But last year in Brazil we showed the world that we have a strong squad and our goal is definitely to go far in the tournament. Hopefully I’ll stay fit and can help my team this time more than last year.

Q: This is another international tournament right after a tough and long club season. How tiring is this for you?

It is quite exhausting, that’s true, especially with the international matches. However, we always make sure to rest up between the matches to recover physically and also mentally. But at the end of the day, we are doing this, because we love this game, so I don’t like to complain about being tired. I am living a life exactly how I dreamt about it when I was a kid, and I would never want to change anything about it.

Q: For the launch of PUMA’s new evoSPEED 1.3 with the Dragon graphic, you met up with Borussia Dortmund midfielder Marco Reus on an unusual squared pitch with 4 goals and sliding doors. Can you tell us about it?

As I already had the chance to test the square pitch a few weeks ago against Falcao, I thought I might have a small advantage over Reus knowing the pitch, the turf and the switching goals. But I have to admit, that guy is really talented, so my lead lasted unfortunately only a few seconds. I love this pitch and it’s really fun, especially when playing against some new players who you don’t get to meet every day in training.

Q: How do you like your new PUMA football boots?

I love the new Dragon boot that PUMA made for us. I hope that this Japanese dragon also stands for luck and success, because I need them to perform well with me during these important matches at the end of the season and also for the Copa America in Chile. The boots are really comfortable, just like my previous evoSPEED 1.3 boots, so I feel really confident in them.
