Porto star wants Arsenal move

Cape Town - Jackson Martinez future is on hold as the player eyes a move to Arsenal this summer. 

Earlier in June, Jackson Martinez' agent has confirmed that his client will complete a move to a "top European club" in the coming days but it now appears the Porto striker is holding on for a move to Arsenal.

Despite no formal offer being lodged by Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, Martinez is pleased to .

"It's a big club in one of the best leagues in the world. We have to see if an offer will become a reality or not." Martinez is quoted as saying by the Express.

"The day we'll know where my future goes is near. I still haven't decided, as I'm focused on the Copa America right now."

The 28-year-old Colombian scored 21 goals in 30 league matches for Porto this season.

Martinez is currently on national team duty with Colombia in Chile for the Copa America.
