Podolski drops Khedira hint

Cape Town - Arsenal already have three Germans in their squad and according to Lukas Podolski they’re about to add a fourth.

Sami Khedira played a key role in Germany's successful Soccer World Cup campaign until a calf injury during the warm-up of the final ended his participation in that match.

Khedira made a remarkable comeback from injury from a serious ACL injury to take his place in the German squad.

His place at Real Madrid is under some scrutiny after Toni Kroos' confirmation that he will be joining Real Madrid this season.

A deal to Arsenal could happen should they pay the £24 million asking price but it is Khedira’s wage demands that are slowing down the process as the Gunners’ are not willing to match the midfielders salary expectations.

During Germany's SWC triumph homecoming in Berlin, Khedira was asked where he will be playing next season - and Podolski offered help by yelling out “Arsenal!”

Watch the video below as Podolski screams the answer when the presenter asks Khedira where he will be playing next season.

Will Sami Khedira be a good signing if Arsenal were to make him a Gunner?
