Players to Watch - Week 2

Cape Town - Sport24 soccer expert Wade Pretorius looks at which Premier League players are going to shine and which players may not...

20 points (average on Superbru was 9.7) means a decent enough round one for the Sport24 picks, granted a disastrous week was saved by Yaya Toure's brilliance.

I sit in 55th place in the Sport24 pool led by Kuban Nair aka RouNDz but what does week two have in store?

Players to watch in week two:

Christian Benteke (Liverpool) - At home and with one game under his belt, I'm tipping Benteke to get on the scoresheet.

Christian Eriksen (Spurs) - Bold call to leave out Coutinho but surely Spurs can't be held scoreless again in week 2?

Gylfi Sigurdsson (Swansea City) - One of the stars of last season, I think the Iceland star may be Newcastle's undoing on Saturday.

Nathaniel Clyne (Liverpool) - I'm tipping Liverpool to keep a clean sheet against Bournemouth with goals expected on both sides in most other games.

The fixtures:

Friday: Aston Villa v Manchester United

Saturday: Southampton v Everton, West Ham United v Leicester City, Swansea City v Newcastle United, Sunderland v Norwich City, Watford v West Bromwich Albion, Tottenham Hotspur v Stoke City

Sunday: Crystal Palace v Arsenal, Manchester City v Chelsea

Monday: Liverpool v Bournmouth
