Cape Town - Crystal Palace, who are still on the hunt for a new manager following
the departure of Tony Pulis, will sound out former Manchester United boss David
Moyes.
According to the London Evening Standard, Palace have had to go back to the drawing board after Malky Mackay, the favourite to replace Pulis, was made unemployable after being involved in a text scandal.
Tim Sherwood was also on the list, but the former Spurs manager has also ruled himself out of taking over the hot-seat at Selhurst Park.
Palace are now reported to have sound out Moyes in the hope that the Scot will be prepared to rebuild his reputation at the Eagles.
It is expected he'll turn the offer down as the 51-year-old favours a move abroad, but the bold move to bring him to the club underlines the level of Palace's ambition this season.
