PSG preparing Sterling bid

Cape Town - Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly preparing a mega-money bid for Liverpool star Raheem Sterling, who is yet to pen new terms at Anfield.

Sterling has become one of the Reds' star performers since breaking into the first team as a 17-year-old in 2012, with his displays last term helping lead them to a second-placed finish in the Premier League.

The England international still has two years remaining on his current contract with the Merseysiders, but is believed to be in negotiations over a new deal that would see his salary rise from £43,000 per week to around £70,000.

However, the 21-year-old has yet to sign on the dotted line, and PSG could now look to swoop in, with reports suggesting the Ligue 1 champions will wave a six-figure salary in front of Sterling.

Les Parisians are, however, not the only club credited with an interest in Sterling, with Real Madrid also believed to be monitoring his situation.
