Nothing to Balo rumour - Rafa

Cape Town - Former Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez will not be raiding his former club for temperamental striker Mario Balotelli. 

Benitez, who is into his his second season in charge of Serie A club Napoli, insists he will not be moving for the Italian striker according to the Liverpool Echo.

“Mario coming to us in January though? There is absolutely nothing to this, it is just a hypothesis that I have never considered.” said Benitez.

After seven years in charge of the Anfield club, Benetiz managed Inter Milan and rivals Chelsea before being appointed Napoli boss.

Napoli are currently third on the Serie A log.
