Norwich frustrate Liverpool

Liverpool - Norwich left Liverpool winless in four Premier League games by grabbing a 1-1 draw at Anfield on Sunday.

Russell Martin's 61st-minute equalizer for the visitors, after goalkeeper Simon Mignolet flapped at a corner, took the gloss off Danny Ings scoring his first goal for Liverpool.

The former Burnley striker netted only three minutes after coming off the bench after half-time.

After taking seven points from their opening three matches, Liverpool have taken one from the last three in the league to sit seven points adrift of leader Manchester City.

It's been equally frustrating in the Europa League, opening against Bordeaux with a 1-1 draw on Thursday.

The one bright spot for Liverpool on Sunday was Daniel Sturridge playing for the first time since April following hip surgery.
