Norwegian wonderkid on EPL radar

Cape Town - Often compared with Lionel Messi due to his trickery, Martin Odegaard is being linked with a move to the English Premiership.

After Martin Odegaard became Norway's youngest ever international, at the age of 15, the midfielder is now being chased my Manchester United and Liverpool.

The Express report that 15-year-old Norwegian wonderkid Martin Odegaard may be at the centre of a bidding war by arch-rivals Manchester United and Liverpool.

Odegaard broke a 104 year old record when he played for Norway's senior team against the UAE in August 2014.

Reports suggest the Odegaard is similar to Lionel Messi due to his pace, vision and trickery.

"It’s very flattering to get so much praise, but one shouldn’t compare himself with players as good as that. However I do look up to a lot of footballers and try to improve by looking at what they do, and Messi is one of them." said the teenager.

Reports in Italy also link Roma with an interest in the player.
