No Costa concern for Mourinho

Cape Town - Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho insists he is not concerned by Diego Costa's dip in form, and believes the striker's goals will return as soon as he regains his fitness, reports Football411.

The Spain international began life in the Premier League in stunning fashion, scoring seven times in his first four top-flight appearances to help the Blues surge to the top of the standings.

However, a recurring hamstring strain has seemingly taken the wind out of his sails, with the Brazilian having found the back of the net just twice in his last four outings, while he was unable to make an impact this weekend as Chelsea lost to Newcastle.

Mourinho, though, insists there is no need for panic at Stamford Bridge, saying: "For me, the problem is not the goals - they will come as a consequence of his (Costa's) condition.

"He has to improve his condition. He was injured and had many doubts because he went a long time without training.

"Obviously that must have an effect on a player in the way he runs, the way he moves and in his co-ordination.

"I don't think there is any problem but he has to recover."
