'New Ronaldo' worth £28m

Cape Town - Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi has been labeled as the "New Ronaldo" and has got Liverpool and Chelsea interested in his services.

The Express report that Mauro Icardi is wanted by Liverpool and Chelsea.

Jesus Hernandez, Icardi's former coach, has put an enormous weight on the 21-year-old's shoulders after saying: "If Icardi played in Spain or England, where he is likely to go, he would be a star.

"He will become one. He has the talent to be the new Ronaldo. You'll see."

Roberto Mancini is willing to allow Icardi to depart the San Siro but only for a fee in the region of £28 million.

Liverpool and Chelsea were both tracking him the striker in the summer and may make a move at the end of the current season.
