Nani set to tie the knot

Manchester - Surely some Dom Perignon was popped in Nani’s household after the Manchester United player announced his engagement to his long-time girlfriend Daniela Martins.

Nani has been dating the journalism student for a few years now. The couple met in London when the Portuguese international just arrived in Manchester United

The 25-year-old Manchester United player revealed the news of his engagement on Twitter.

He tweeted a picture of himself and a smiling Daniela on Tuesday, with the message: "I'm happy to announce that we're engaged :-)."

Showbiz News in Manchester reported that Miss Martins has been browsing wedding dress racks in Manchester. Daniela is guaranteed to look like a princess on her big day. This future journo is known not to be ashamed to dress like a supermodel on a daily basis.

Daniela was among the United WAGs (wives and girlfriends) who helped raise cash at the Manchester United Foundation ladies' lunch in November.
