Cape Town - Rio Ferdinand will be offered a revised deal by QPR with Harry Redknapp adamant to make the former Manchester United defender a Hoops player.

Crystal Palace are closing in on the signing of Cardiff City defender Steven Caulker.

Swansea City have denied that Liverpool have made any offers for Wilfred Bony while The Welsh side have confirmed they are finalising a deal where Michu will join Napoli on a season long loan.

According to Skysports, Manchester United and Chelsea target Edinson Cavani wants a move to the English Premiership and has asked his agent to investigate a potential switch from France to England.

Enner Valencia will have his medical in the next 48 hours ahead of a move to West Ham United.

Wolfsburg are confident of beating a host Premier League clubs to the signing of Chelsea's Romelu Lukaku.

Manchester City are in talks with Porto over the signing of defender Eliaquim Mangala. City are also looking to sell a number of players as they are interested in signing Ross Barkley from Everton.

Arjen Robben has ruled out a move to go to Manchester United after saying that he will remain with Bayern Munich although Louis Van Gaal has asked him to join him at Old Trafford. In the meantime, Arturo Vidal is on the verge of joining Manchester United from Juventus for £32m.
