Cape Town - Fernando Torres can look forward to more time on the pitch after joining AC Milan on a two-year loan deal according to the Serie A club's coach.
AC Milan will make better use of Fernando Torres according to teamtalk.com.
Stefano Eranio, coach of AC Milan, compared the Spanish striker to a car when he said that the player needs to be treated correctly in order for him to perform to his usual high standards.
"Torres is a very humble player, he has great technical and human qualities," Eranio told Milan News.
"In recent years he has not been in contention much and has spent a long time on the Chelsea bench.
"But he is like a car, he needs to play to find his form. He needs the confidence of the coach and to make the most of his surroundings.
"As a coach, I say that I would always want someone like Torres in the team.
"He arrives in Italy with great enthusiasm, and has specific characteristics that would suit Milan perfectly."
Torres, who joined Chelsea in 2011, scored just 20 goals in 110 appearances for the Blues.
