Mata price tag set at £20m

Cape Town - Reports in England suggest Spanish midfielder Juan Mata will be allowed to leave Old Trafford for £20 million.

The Express report that Manchester United are willing to take a £17.1 million loss on Juan Mata.

Valencia are set to rival Atletico Madrid for the signature of former Chelsea star Juan Mata with Juventus also monitoring the situation developing at the Theatre of Dreams.

Mata has completed just three full matches this season and has been losing the battle with Belgian youngster Adnan Januzaj for a starting role in Louis van Gaal's side.

Van Gaal is reportedly willing to allow Mata to leave the club in the January transfer window.
