Liverpool enter Falcao race?

Cape Town - Liverpool are reportedly ready to rival Chelsea for the signature of Monaco's Colombian striker Radamel Falcao.

The Daily Star report that Brendan Rodgers is interested in hijacking Jose Mourinho's bid for Falcao.

Falcao, who flopped while on loan at Manchester United last season, is currently on international duty with a Colombia.

A good showing in Chile could earn "El Tigre" a return to the Premier League with some sources saying that Chelsea are already in talks over a deal to bring Falcao back to England.

Despite scoring just four goals last season, Chelsea may have to see off interest from the Reds for the signature of the once-prolific striker.
