Liverpool after Barca right-back

Cape Town - Barcelona have confirmed that right-back Dani Alves is no longer in their plans and that the Spanish club are ready to let the 31-year-old go.

According to Soccer Laduma website, Liverpool are chasing the Brazilian full-back, who is apparently looking for a new challenge this season, despite still having one year left on his contract.

Barcelona’s bosses, meanwhile, seem keen to offload Alves now instead of letting him go for free next year.

Paris Saint-Germain have stopped their efforts to land Alves, leaving Liverpool as frontrunners to sign the defender.

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
