18:52 - Ref blows for full time. That's it folks! Chelsea looking keen after a solid performance today. Couls have scored more goals, but it suffices to say it was a birth of fire for Prem newcomers Hull City.
18:49 - Two minutes of extra time to be played and it looks like Hull have held on escape the hiding everyone was expecting them to get after Chelsea came into this match guns blazing.
18:38 - 78th minute substitution for Hull - Boyd on, Aluko off.
18:36 - Schurrle looking lively and almost makes it 3-0. Lukaku found Ramires who rolled the ball into the path of the German. His chip was too heavy though and goes over the bar.
18:35 - Chelsea make another change, with Belgian 20-year-old Romelu Lukaku coming on for Fernando Torres in the 75th minute.
18:32 - Some momentum from Hull sees them create an opportunity after Elmohamady whips one in from the right. The header from Davies is easily dealt with by Cech though.
18:30 - Elmohamady fouls Hazard in the corner - free-kick to Chelsea. The Egyptian escapes a deserved a yellow card.
18:29 - Chelsea bring on new signing Andre Schurrle in place of Kevin de Bruyne in the 67th min. Let's see if the German is any good in this side.

the home supporters enjoy the 2nd half as much as the 1st. - @chelseaafc
18:07 - The visitors are putting a good few passes together, but cannot breal through that last third. Chelsea's defence is looking as solid as ever.
18:05 - Tigers get the ball rolling for the second half.
17:56 - In other football news: Tottenham Hotspur have beaten Crystal Palace by one goal to nil at Selhurst Park. Roberto Soldado scored a penalty for Spurs in the 50th minute.
17:53 - Chelsea looking dominant to give Mourinho a comfortable return. Can't help but feel they should have had more goals and the gaffer will definitely encourage them to bang in some more. Rough start for the Tigers.
17:51 - HALF-TIME Referee Jon Moss blows his whistle to send the players to the dressing-room.
17:47 - A terrific instinctive save from McGregor after Lampard fires one in. The goal-line clearance brings the controversial 'hawk-eye' into play for the first time this season. Technology gets it right. Goal disallowed.
17:44 - The Tigers are having a better spell of play now as they first-halfs draws to a close. Chelsea are holding the fort though and still seem to be in control.
17:41 - PICTURE
Frank Lampard sent this ball swerving from about 35 yards, beating Hull goalie Allan McGregor to score the Blues' first goal.
17:36 - Chelsea slow the game down a bit which allows Hull their first chance to test Cech but Robbie Brady's effort from a free-kick goes straight into the wall.
17:32 - If the Blues score three or more without conceding today, they will go top above champions Man United, if I'm not mistaken. No doubt, this is what Mourinho is aiming for.
17:29 - The Tigers seem intent on gifting this game to Chelsea. They keep giving the ball away carelessly, much to the delight of the home team, who seem keen score more today.
