The Mirror report that Real Madrid are plotting a move for Laurent Koscielny.
Rafael Benitez is interested in replacing Ramos with a fellow 29-year-old defender in a move worth a reported £21 million.
Koscielny joined the Gunners in 2010 and has continued to develop under the guidance of Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger.
Now Wenger must convince the French defender to ignore interest from the La Liga giants. Koscielny signed a long-term renewal with the Gunners last year which gives the London club a strong base to withstand any moves from Real Madrid.
