Cape Town - Reports speculate that Harry Kane could be on his way out of White Hart Lane with QPR striker Charlie Austin tipped to replace him.
The Independent report that Spurs left Kane out of their line-up for third/fourth place playoff against AC Milan in the Audi Cup due to a transfer offer coming in for the England star.
During the match, the commentator said that a "huge offer" from the Red Devils was the reason why Kane was left out of the matchday team.
Kane scored 31 goals in all competitions for Spurs last season.
In recent seasons Manchester United have bought Dimitar Berbatov, Michael Carrick and Teddy Sheringham from their London rivals.
