Kagawa flies out for medical

Cape Town - Japanese star midfielder Shinji Kagawa has reportedly flown out of Manchester to seal a move back to the Bundesliga.

The Daily Mail report that Kagawa has agreed to re-join Borussia Dortmund before the transfer window closes at midnight on Monday, September 1.

Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp, known for his love of Kagawa's abilities, has reportedly reached a £8 million agreement for the midfielder.

A fan favourite at the Westfalenstadion, Kagawa is expected to join the German club on a four-year contract.

Kagawa enjoyed a tremendously successful time with Dortmund and left the club with a heavy heart. "I will carry this club, their great fans, and the whole city in my heart forever and will follow their results with great interest." said Kagawa upon his departure.

Kagawa never settled in the United first team, often being forced to play out of position on the left wing, and made only 56 appearances in his two years at Old Trafford.
