Juve confirm Sneijder interest

Cape Town - Dutch star Wesley Sneijder, a perennial transfer target of Manchester United, is a target for Serie A giants, Juventus.

Massimiliano Allegri wants to bring the Holland international to Italy from Turkey according to the Guardian.

“It’s not easy to reinforce Juve but we have some very clear ideas and it’s no secret that we are looking for an attacking midfielder and a defender,” said Allegri.

“Sneijder has tremendous technical quality and would complete an already very strong part of the team, creating competition for places. He wouldn’t be able to play in the Champions League but we have to be realistic and see who is out there.”

The 30-year-old midfielder has starred in the Serie A before during his three-and-a-half stint with Inter Milan two years ago.

Juventus who host Inter on Tuesday, with a three point cushion at the top of the Serie A.

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
