Januzaj edges closer to loan move

Cape Town - Sunderland's bid to sign Manchester United's Adnan Januzaj on loan is gathering momentum.

The Sunderland Echo report that Adnan Januzaj could spend the rest of the 20151/16 season on loan at Sunderland.

Manchester United are on the brink of bringing Barcelona forward Pedro to the club after the Spanish international was left out of the starting lineup against Sevilla on Tuesday.

Pedro's arrival in Manchester has placed Januzaj's place in the first team squad in jeopardy.

The versatile Belgium attacker may be allowed to leave the club to gain further first team experience.

The Echo also reports that the two Premier League club were in talks last week regarding the deal.

Everton are also linked with an interest in the 20-year-old playmaker who shone under David Moyes but failed to continue that form under Louis van Gaal last season.
