Cape Town - Liverpool's will have to continue their search for a goalkeeper after target Timo Horn elected to stay in Germany.
Liverpool's hopes of signing young German goalkeeper, Timo Horn, have been dashed according to the Daily Mail.
With speculation rife that the Reds could coming knocking on Cologne's door, the 21-year-old shot-stopper has poured cold water on any ideas that he could be leaving the club.
"I have said it more than once: I am in talks with FC Koln [regarding a new contract]. I want to sign on with my club."
The player's agent, Volker Struth, has also rejected the transfer rumours circulating around his client.
"We have been told about those rumours. However, no one contacted us directly." said Struth.
Horn is the second keeper to be strongly linked with Liverpool in recent weeks after Neto was also tipped to make the move to Anfield in November. (Read that story here.)
