Has Bruce lost Ben Arfa?

Cape Town - Hull City manager Steve Bruce has revealed he does not know where loan signing Hatem Ben Arfa is at the moment.

Speaking after his side's 2-0 loss to Chelsea, Steve Bruce opened up about the issues surrounding Ben Arfa.

Teamtalk report that various rumours suggest Ben Arfa is in Paris trying to find a new club.

"To be honest, I don't know if Hatem is in Paris. That's the truth,” Bruce told reporters.

"As for not playing again for Hull City, then at the moment he's not in the squad and the transfer window opens in January.

"There are still conversations to be had with him, but at the moment he is not in the squad and he hasn't earned the right to be in the squad at the moment.

"I don't know if the report he is in France, or whatever it is, is true. I'm not sure."

The 27-year-old Frenchman has not featured for Hull since being withdrawn before half-time against Manchester United on November 29.

Ben Arfa is currently on loan from Newcastle United after falling out with manager Alan Pardew.
