Cape Town - West Ham are reportedly ready to make a move for Manchester City defender Micah Richards.
According to reports, Manchester City are ready to let go of the England man, valued at around £7m, and City manager Manuel Pellegrini is looking to finalise a deal for Richards before the end of the summer transfer window.
The 25 year old may relish a move to Upton Park as he seeks more of regular first team action and would be the Hammers' number one defensive player.
