Cape Town - Arsenal have received a big boost to their attacking
options following a return to training for France international Olivier Giroud.
The 28-year-old fractured a bone in his ankle towards the end of August, but showed promising signs during his rehabilitation, with Gunners boss Arsene Wenger even previously claiming the forward was "miles ahead of schedule” in terms of his recovery, reports Football411.
And those words have since been vindicated after Giroud returned to training with the rest of his team-mates on Thursday morning.
The news follows on from another major fitness boost for Arsenal, who recently saw Theo Walcott return from a nine-month injury lay-off.
However, the north London giants are still without a number of key players as Mesut Ozil, Mathieu Debuchy and Laurent Koscielny remain long-term casualties.
