Manchester United are having serious doubts about the long-term fitness of Colombian striker Radamel Falcao according to the Daily Mail.
Despite undergoing a rigorous medical ahead of his deadline day loan move, the striker reportedly has to ice his left knee after every training session and match to prevent swelling.
Falcao has missed the last three fixtures for the Red Devils due to a calf injury adding to the United medical staff's concerns that the star forward is not up to the physicality of the English game.
Louis van Gaal has also warned Falcao that he could face time on the bench after the Dutch coach changed the United formation back to a one striker system.
