Everton to move for Arsenal frontman

Cape Town - Lukas Podolski is set to end his time in the red of Arsenal and could be turning out in blue next season, according to reports.

The Daily Star report that Everton's Goodison Park could be Lukas Podolski's next home ground.

The English publication believes that Arsene Wenger has told the German World Cup winner that he is free to move on this summer.

Everton manager Roberto Martinez must now attempt to convince the 30-year-old forward that Everton is the best place for his career, despite interest from Galatasary in Turkey.

Podolski spent the latter half of last season on loan at Inter Milan but failed to secure a permanent move after netting just one goal in 18 appearances.

The German star recently admitted that he will consider all available potential options as he seeks a more important role at his next club.

He said: “If I find the right club, right coach and right environment, I’ll evaluate it.

“If these conditions are met, I think everything is possible.”

Podolski signed for Arsenal in 2012.

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
