Everton officials in CT

Cape Town - Representatives from Everton are in Cape Town to discuss terms for their proposed trip to South Africa.

According to the Soccer-Laduma website, Everton and Newcastle United have agreed, in principle, to play in a round robin tournament in the Mother City in July.

The news comes shortly after it was all but confirmed that Everton’s city rivals, Liverpool, should be playing in Cape Town on May 21, with the city awaiting confirmation from the five-time European champions.
