Cape Town – It has been reported that Marcos Rojo could return for Manchester United earlier than expected following a dislocated shoulder injury.
According to Goal.com website, the injury occurred during United’s English Premiership derby loss to Manchester City at the Ethihad Stadium.
Rojo required oxygen when medical staff stretchered the Argentine defender off the field.
Later, United manager Louis van Gaal revealed that Rojo would be sidelined for six weeks after his surprising freak injury.
However, it has been reported that Rojo is making strides in rehabilitation and has since returned to training.
The Red Devils trip to St. Mary’s Stadium on December 8 could be the encounter of Rojo's return and Van Gaal would welcome it as Southampton have been plummeting the Premiership standings as they don second position with 26 points.
United are currently fourth on the English Premiership table with 19 points from their opening 12 games.
