Cape Town – After Chelsea released Ashley Cole, who has joined Roma, Jose Mourinho is desperate to sign Filipe Luis as his replacement. Chelsea are keen to fill the void left by Cole by replacing him with Atletico Madrid's Luis. The Blues reportedly tabled a £15m bid.

Inter Milan are ready to make another approach to sign Manchester City striker Stevan Jovetic.

Liverpool will test Tottenham’s desire for Swansea’s Ben Davies as the Anfield club joins Spurs in the race to sign the defender.

Wesley Sneijder is the next Dutch player being linked with a move to Manchester United after Daley Blind, Arjen Robben, Nigel de Jong and Stefan de Vrij have all been reported in moving with new manager Loius Van Gaal to Old Trafford.

Arsenal will have to make Sami Khedira their highest paid player on their books if they want to secure his signature with the Real Madrid midfielder being available for £24m.

Real Madrid are interested in Marco Verratti. The PSG midfielder has been linked with a move to Old Trafford last season but the 21-year-old Italian international is prepared to ink a new deal with the French champions  despite interest from Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are also keeping an eye on Verratti. 

Robert Lewandowski was finally presented by Bayern Munich along with 23-year-old Sebastian Rode, who has made the switch to the Bundesliga champions from Eintracht Frankfurt.

Alvaro Morata is excited about the new challenge of possibly joining Juventus from Real Madrid for a fee reported to be in the region of £20m.

Chelsea has announced the signing of teenage Croatian midfielder, Mario Pasalic, from Hajduk Split for an undisclosed fee.

Fulham, relegated from the Premier League last season, signed Greek international left-back Konstantinos Stafylidis on loan from Germany's Bayer Leverkusen.

Salomon Kalou is being chased by numerous of clubs with the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool, Everton, Roma, Tottenham and Monaco all interested in the former Chelsea player.

After having ended his contract with Galatasaray, Didier Drogba is waiting on Jose Mourinho to bring him back to Chelsea.

Xherdan Shaqiri is poised to Roma after snubbing the advances of Liverpool, with a fee of £15m being set by his current club Bayern Munich.

Montpellier's Remy Cabella is a Newcastle United target with the Magpies ready to launch a fresh £10m bid after a previous bid was rejected last month.

Skysports reports Tottenham goalkeeper, Hugo Lloris, has signed a new five-year contract with the Premier League club ending the speculation that the French number one was on his way out.

Napoli are hopeful of sorting out a deal for Swansea forward Michu, the Spanish player has been linked with a move to back to Spain with Athletico Madrid also interested. 

Celtic goalkeeper, Fraser Forster, is Ronald Koeman’s next target as the new Southampton boss rebuilds the squad ahead of the new season.
