Cape Town - Arsenal are set to seal the deal for Newcastle's Mathieu Debuchy. The Magpies reportedly want Joel Campbell as part of the deal in a loan spell but the Gunners are prepared to offer defender Carl Jenkinson instead as part of the package.

Fulham have just completed the signing of striker Ross McCormack from Leeds United for a reported £11m.

Barcelona’s proposed move for Luis Suarez is being held up as Liverpool want the bulk of the £75m fee up front.

Sunderland are eyeing Jack Rodwell's situation and are considering a move for the midfielder from Manchester City.

Alvaro Negredo is willing to take a pay cut to ensure a move to Atletico Madrid is done. Manchester City are willing to let the Spanish striker leave but only for €30m. Atletico are prepared to make a 20m bid as they are also keen on bringing in Mario Mandzukic from Bayern Munich.
