English Premiership Team of the Week 8:

1. Jack Butland (Stoke City) - Peter Cech made some fantastic saves against United but Butland's clean sheet secured his side a vital win on the road while Arsenal cruised to a win.

2. Glen Johnson (Stoke City) - The unfancied England defender provided the assist for the winner against Aston Villa.

3. Jeffrey Schlupp (Leicester City) - Leicester City continue their winning ways with Schlupp on the score-sheet in the win away at Norwich.

4. Ramiro Funes Mori (Everton) - The Argentine defender sneaks into the team ahead of team-mate Phil Jagielka after a solid display in the Merseyside derby.

5. Virgil van Dijk (Southampton) - Van Dijk put his rocky start behind him and turned in a dominant display against Chelsea.

6. Yohan Cabaye (Crystal Palace) - Cabaye is doing just the job Alan Pardew brought him in to do as the Eagles continue to soar in the Premier League.

7. Kevin de Bruyne (Manchester City) - De Bruyne's re-introduction to the Premier League has been magnificent and shone against Newcastle with a lovely goal and two assists.

8. Christian Eriksen (Tottenham Hotspur) - Spurs were held on the road but there was no holding the Danish midfielder back at the set pieces. Two free kick goals in one match is a special feat.

9. Alexis Sanchez (Arsenal) - Sanchez was simply unplayable as he played a starring role in the destruction of Manchester United's fragile defence.

10. Graziano Pelle (Southampton) - Pelle - with two assists and a goal - was one of many Saints players to star as Ronald Koeman's men heaped even more pressure on Jose Mourinho.

11. Sergio Aguero (Manchester City) - Aguero rocketed up the top goal scorers chart after netting FIVE goals against the hapless Newcastle.
