English Premiership Team of the Week 27*:

1. Lukasz Fabianski (Swansea City) - The former Arsenal keeper topped the saves chart this week with 6 as he kept a clean sheet against Burnley.

2. Hector Bellerin (Arsenal) - Marginally Arsenal's best defender on the day.

3. Alberto Moreno (Liverpool) - Good hardworking display from the Spanish left back.

4. Gareth McAuley (West Brom) - West Brom secured a much needed win over Champions League chasing Southampton, which began with a solid defence on the day.

5. Marc Wilson (Stoke City) - Ran the show for the Potters, who managed to shut out Hull City at home.

6. Jordan Henderon (Liverpool) - Liverpool's stand-in captain produced the kind of display that Steven Gerrard himself would be proud of.

7. Mesut Ozil (Arsenal) - Two assists for the German international as Arsenal overcame Everton.

8. Jason Puncheon (Crystal Palace) - A hat-trick of assists ensured Puncheon's first ever inclusion in this side.

9. Philippe Coutinho (Liverpool) - The Brazilian is finally producing the kind of match-winning performances that all Reds fans knew he could. Wonder strike against City stole this week's headlines.

10. Wayne Rooney (Manchester United) - Back as a forward, back on the goal scoring sheet. Rooney sealed the Red Devils win with typical poacher's goal against Sunderland.

11. Glenn Murray (Crystal Palace) - The Crystal Palace frontman fired the Alan Pardew's side to a valuable away win by scoring twice before seeing red.

*Note that Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur players were not considered due to League Cup duty
