Cape Town - After the weekend's English Premiership action, Sport24's Wade Pretorius chooses the EPL Team of the Week.

EPL Team of the Week 23:

1. Tim Krul (Newcastle) - Seven saves and a vital away clean sheet, Krul is an obvious choice this week.

2. Seamus Coleman (Everton) - He won't be at the Toffees for much longer if he carries on this kind of form.

3. Patrick van Aanholt (Sunderland) - Was brilliant going forward and doing his defensive work.

4. Ashley Williams (Swansea City) - Can't be many complaints about this Swans' inclusion. Rock solid at the back against Southampton.

5. Mamadou Sakho (Liverpool) - Marginally better than Skrtel on the day.

6. Daley Blind (Manchester United) - Louis van Gaal loves playing Blind and it's easy to see why. The Dutchman pulled the strings in a good win for the Red Devils.

7. Raheem Sterling (Liverpool) - His winter break clearly treated him well. Liverpool fans will be desperate for their star player to sign a new deal at Anfield.

8. Santi Cazorla (Arsenal) - Another remarkable display by the Spaniard although he was lucky to have scored his penalty.

9. Eden Hazard (Chelsea) - Assisted Remy for Chelsea's goal. Always looked a threat.

10. Jonathan Walters (Stoke City) - Hat-trick hero as Stoke demolished QPR.

11. Harry Kane (Tottenham Hotspur) - A brace for the striker who just can't stop scoring. Almost added a third with a Ronaldo-like free kick.

No! I think the smart thing to do is start again with a younger skipper ...
