Cape Town – Manchester United threw away a two goal lead twice to lose against a Jamie Vardy inspired Leicester City while a brace from Papiss Cisse may have bought Alan Pardew a bit more time in charge of Newcastle.

Mesut Ozil and Danny Welbeck stole the show as Arsenal blitzed an in-from Aston Villa in a weekend where no side was able to gain a real advantage in the race for the Champions League places as Liverpool, Spurs and Manchester United all lost.
