EPL: All the completed transfers

Cape Town - A club by club breakdown of all the completed transfers ahead of the new English Premiership season. 


Arsenal have spent £66 million on bringing in four players.

Players in:
 Alexis Sanchez (Barcelona, £35m), Mathieu Debuchy (Newcastle, £12m), David Ospina (Nice, £3m) and Calum Chambers (Southampton, £16m). 

Players out: Lukasz Fabianski (Swansea City, free), Zak Anshaw (Charlton, free)  Bacary Sagna (Manchester City, free) Thomas Eisfield (Fulham, £400,000) and Carl Jenkinson (West Ham, loan). 


Paul Lambert has made £250,000 in his transfer dealings so far.

Players in: Tom Leggett, Isaac Nehemie (both Southampton, free), Joe Cole (West Ham, free),  Philipe Senderos (Valencia, free) and Kieran Richardson (Fulham, free). 

Players out: Marc Albrighton (Leicester City, free), Jordan Bowery (Rotherham United, £250,000), Yacouba Sylla (Kayseri Erciyesspor, loan) and Nicklas Helenius (Aalborg BK, loan).

Players released: Nathan Delfouneso (Blackpool).


EPL newcomers Burnley have spent £3 million on five new additions.

Players in: Micheal Kightly (Stoke, £1.5m), Matt Gilks (Blackpool, free), Matthew Taylor (West Ham, free), Steven Reid (West Bromwich, free) and Lukas Jutkiewicz (Middlesbrough, £1.5m). 

Players out: Chris Baird (West Bromwich, free),  Joseph Mills (Oldham, free), David Edgar (Birmingham, free) and Junior Stanislas (Bournemouth, free). 


Jose Mourinho has net spend of just £800,000 this season.

Players in Cesc Fabregas (Barcelona, £30m),  Diego Costa (Atletico Madrid, £32m), M Pasalic (Hajduk Split, £3m) Filipe Luis (Atletico Madrid, £20m) and Didier Drogba (unattached, free). 

Players out David Luiz (Paris Saint-Germain, £50m), Demba Ba (Besiktas, £4.7m), Patrick van Aanholt (Sunderland, £1.5m) and Romelu Lukaku (Everton, £28m). 

Players released: Ashley Cole (Roma), Samuel Eto’o and Frank Lampard (New York City).


Tony Pulis has been relatively quiet in the transfer window, bringing in just three new faces for the 2014/15 season.

Players in:
 Chris Kettings (Blackpool, free), Frazier Campbell (Cardiff, £900,000) and Brede Hangeland (free). 

Players out: Kagisho Dikgacoi (Cardiff City, free), Jose Campana (Sampdoria, £1.4m) Jack Hunt (Nottingham Forest, loan), Kwesi Appiah (Cambridge United, loan) and Alex Wynter (Portsmouth, loan).


Roberto Martinez has been giving significant funds in this window and he has spent £36 million on four players ahead of the new season.

Players in: Gareth Barry (Manchester City, free), Mo Besic (Ferencvaros, £4m), Romelu Lukaku (Chelsea, £28m) and Brendan Galloway (MK Dons, £4m).

Players out: Magaye Gueye (Millwall, free) and Francisco Junior (Stromsgodset, loan). 


Hull have been big spenders in the window so far after bringing in five players for £20.35 million.

Players in: Jake Livermore (Tottenham Hotspur, £8m), Robert Snodgrass (Norwich City, £7m), Tom Ince (Blackpool, compensation), Harry Maguire (Sheffield United, £2.5m) and Andrew Robertson (Dundee United, £2.85m ). 

Players out: Matthew Fryatt (Nottingham Forest, free), Cameron Stewart (Ipswich, free), Paul McElroy (Sheffield Wednesday, free), Mark Oxley (Hibernian, loan) and Joe Dudgeon (Barnsley, loan).


The Foxes have spent £8 million as they attempt to survive their first season back in the EPL.

Players in:
 Jack Barmby (Manchester United, free), Matthew Upson (Brighton & Hove Albion, free), Marc Albrighton (Aston Villa, free), Loius Rowley (Manchester United, free) and Leonardo Ulloa (Brighton, £8m). 

Players out: Lloyd Dyer (Watford, free),  Zak Whitbread (Derby, free), Neil Danns (Bolton Wanderers, free), Paul Gallagher (Preston, loan), Martyn Waghorn (Wigan Athletic, free). 


Brendan Rodgers' side lost Suarez for £75 million but have brought in six players at a cost of £89 million as they try to win the EPL title.

Players in: Rickie Lambert (Southampton, £4m), Adam Lallana (Southampton, £25m), Emre Can (Bayer Leverkusen, £10m), Lazar Markovic (Benfica, £20m), Dejan Lovren (Southampton, £20m) and Divock Origi (Lille, £10m). 

Players out: Luis Suarez (Barcelona, £75m),  Luis Alberto (Malaga, loan), Iago Aspas (Sevilla, loan), Andre Wisdom (West Brom, loan) and Jakub Sokolik (Yeovil, free). 


With an already powerful squad, City have spent just £16.4 million this season.

Players in: Bacary Sagna (Arsenal, free), Fernando (Porto, £12m) and Willy Caballero (Malaga, £4,4m).

Players out: Costel Pantilimon (Sunderland, free), Gareth Barry (Everton, free), Joleon Lescott (West Bromwich, free), Marcos Lopes, (Lille, loan) and  Alex Henshall (Ipswich, free). 


Several Manchester United stalwarts have left the Red Devils as Louis van Gaal attempts to bring glory back to Old Trafford.

Players in: Ander Herrera (Athletic Bilbao, £29m), Luke Shaw (Southampton, £27m) and Vanja Milinkovic (Vojvodina, undisclosed).

Players out: Nemenja Vidic (Internazionale, free), Alex Buttner (Dynamo Moscow, £5m), Patrice Evra (Juventus, £1.2m) and Bebe (Benfica, £2.4m). 

Player released: Rio Ferdinand (QPR).

Newcastle United

Alan Pardew's transfer activity is almost complete after signing Facundo Ferreyra on a season long loan.

Players in: Ayoze Perez (Tenerife, £1.5m), Siem de Jong, (Ajax, £6m), Remy Cabella (Montpellier, £12m), Daryl Janmaat (Feyenoord (£5m),  Emmanuel Rivière, (Monaco, £6m) and Facundo Ferreyra (Shakhtar Donetsk, loan).

Players out: Mathieu Debuchy (Arsenal, £12m), Dan Gosling (Bournemouth, free), Romain Amalfitano (Dijon, free), Shola Ameobi (released) and  Sylvain Marveaux (Guingamp, loan). T


Harry Redknapp often enjoys the transfer window more than the season itself. He is certainly not done yet.

Players in: Rio Ferdinand (Manchester United, free), Steven Caulker (Cardiff City, £8.5m).

Players out: Aaron Hughes (Brighton, free), Tom Hitchcock (MK Dons, free), Yossi Benayoun (Maccabi Haifa, undisclosed), Esteban Granero (Real Sociedad, £4.5m). 


Southampton have made £90 million but in the process lost many their core players. 

Players in: Dusan Tadic (Twente, £10.9m), Graziano Pelle (Feyenoord, £9m) and Ryan Bertrand (Chelsea, loan).

Players out: Luke Shaw (Manchester United, £27m), Adam Lallana (Liverpool, £23m), Rickie Lambert (Liverpool, £4m), Dejan Lovren (Liverpool, £20m) and Calum Chambers (Arsenal, £16m).


Potentially the signing of the summer, Bojan Krkic will be looking to bring his career back to life with the Potters.

Players in: Phil Bardsley (Sunderland, free), Steve Sidwell (Fulham, free), Mame Diouf (Hannover, free), Dionatan Teixeira (Banska Bystrica, £400k) and Bojan Krkic (Barcelona, £3m). 

Players out: Michael Kightly (Burnley, £1.5m). 


After surviving the drop in magnificant fashion last season, Gus Poyet has added four players to his 2014/15 squad.

Players in:
 Jordi Gomez (Wigan, free), Billy Jones (West Bromwich, free), Costel Pantilimon (Manchester City, free) and Patrick van Aanholt (Chelsea, £1.5m)

Players out: Phil Bardsley (Stoke City, free), Craig Gardner (West Bromwich, free), Jack Colback (Newcastle, free), Oscar Utari (Newell’s Old Boys, free) and Nacho Scocco (Newell’s Old Boys, £2.1m). 


Michu out and Gylfi Sigurdsson in for the Welsh side as they look to climb up the EPL table. Gomis and Bony will be a dangerous combination up front.

Players in: Lukasz Fabianski (Arsenal, free), Batefimi Gomis (Lyons, free), Marvin Emnes (Middlesbrough, £1.5m), Gylfi Sigurdsson (Tottenham Hotspur, undisclosed), Jefferson Montero (Morelia, £4m) and Stephen Kingsley (Falkirk, £850,00). 

Players out: Michu (Napoli, loan), Ben Davies (Tottenham Hotspur, undisclosed), Michel Vorm (Tottenham Hotspur, £3.5m) and Alejandro Pozuelo (Rayo Vallecano, undisclosed). 


New boss Mauricio Pochetinno still wants to add Morgan Scheiderlin to his squad ahead of the new season.

Players in: Ben Davies (Swansea, undisclosed),  Michel Vorm (Swansea, £3.5m) and Eric Dier (Sporting Lisbon, £4m). 

Players out: Heurelho Gomes (Watford, free), Jake Livermore (Hull, £8m), Alex Pritchard (Brentford, loan), Gylfi Sigurdsson (Swansea, undisclosed) and Kenny McEvoy (Peterborough, loan).


WBA have spent £10m on new talent this season along with signing Joleon Lescott on a free.

Players in: Brown Ideye (Dynamo Kiev, £10m)  Craig Gardner (Sunderland, free), Joleon Lescott (Manchester City, free), Chris Baird (Burnley, free), Andre Wisdom (Liverpool, loan). 

Players out: Liam Ridgewell (Portland Timbers, free), Billy Jones (Sunderland, free), Steven Reid (Burnley, free), Cameron Gayle (Shrewsbury, free) and George Thorne (Derby, undisclosed). 


Big Sam has added World Cup star Enner Valencia to his squad along with securing Carl Jenkinson on loan.

Players in: Enner Valencia (Pachuca, £12m),  Aaron Cresswell (Ipswich, £2m), Cheikhou Kouyate (Anderlecht, £7m), Diego Poyet (Charlton, undisclosed) and Carl Jenkinson (Arsenal, loan). 

Players out: Joe Cole (Aston Villa, free),  Matt Taylor (Burnley, free) Stephen Henderson (Charlton, free), Raphael Spiegel (Crawley, loan) and Sean Maguire (Sligo Rovers, loan).
