Dikgacoi out in the cold

Cape Town - Premier League clubs have submitted the their lists of players to be released to Premier League officials at the end of the 2013/2014 season.

According to the Premier League website, all clubs had until the third Saturday in May to submit their lists of released and retained players.

There are a lot of top quality players that are available on a free transfer and many of the players below have signed deals at new clubs.

We have compiled a list of the best players in the Premier League available on a free transfer, including South African star Kagisho Dikgacoi and African stars Marouane Chamakh and Mahamadou Diarra.

It should be noted that any player listed as either a "free transfer" or released by a club could remain there next season and so the lists submitted are not regarded as definitive that such players will be leaving their respective clubs.
